Thanks to the success at the Plymouth Business Ideas Challange Hot Pixel have been able to occupy offices within the Tamar Science Park in Plymouth.

This weekend saw the MCM Expo event held at the ExCel Centre in London. The Hot Pixel team were there once again showcasing Rotoblast™ and promoting the University. After the success of the Midlands MCM Expo in February, the pressure was on to succeed.

It was the highest attended event ever and the stand drew lots of attention. The fantastic comments and reactions from players were part of the incredible reception that was received. Team members Andy Russell and Stuart Jennings were also interviewed on the UK's number one Sci-Fi radio show, who were covering the event.
BusinessAward! - 24/05/07The Hot Pixel team have won two awards for business innovation! RotoBlast™ won the 2nd place prize in the Business Ideas Challenge and the team went on to take 3rd place prize in the Business Plan Challenge.

MCMExpo (Midlands) - 24/02/07Hot Pixel exhibited their RotoBlast™ arcade gaming machine at the Midlands MCM Expo in Telford today. Showcasing among gaming giants such as Atari and DDR. RotoBlast™ attracted huge interest from game manufacturers as well as the general public.

Throughout the day there was a constant stream of enthusiastic gamers who were willing to wait up to half an hour to play. The RotoBlast™ stand attracted rows of curious spectators, rubber-necking to find out what all the hype was about. Event regulars and some of the UK's premier costuming clubs 'Cosplay' and 'KOTE' got involved in the action, with Power Rangers, Stormtroopers and famous characters from the 'Aliens' film taking their place in the RotoBlast™ hot-seat.
Local media covered the event filming RotoBlast™ in action and giving an exclusive TV interview with Managing Director, Martin Darby. Hot Pixel has received substantial exposure from the event and are now planning for future expos and conventions.
Today saw the release of an Evening Herald full page 3 article in preparation for the team’s appearance at the Midlands MCM Expo. Graham Broach reported on the RotoBlast™ virtual reality project and the calibre of our appearance in such a prestigious event as MCM Expo.
